He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Auckland University of Technology, with research in multimodal, explainable health AI — including phone-only depression-risk prediction from passive data alone. He writes across the health-data landscape — from the wearable data ecosystem to product, infrastructure, and what it takes to build on health data.
