Start with the status, because it sets the timetable. The bankruptcy court of the Zurich District Court opened bankruptcy proceedings against dacadoo ag on 29 July 2026. On 25 September 2026 the bankruptcy office published a conditional sale of its software and source code, including the Health Score and Risk Engine, with its models, data and domains. No buyer has been publicly named as of 9 October 2026.

dacadoo sold three things. A Health Score from 0 to 1,000, built partly from self-reported answers and delivered through the DHEP-API. A White Label app and a dacadoo-branded SaaS app, with goals, coaching, gamification and rewards. And a Risk Engine sold to insurers for underwriting, pricing and segmentation.

Every option below replaces the first of those, at most. None is a finished app, so if you shipped dacadoo’s White Label or SaaS app you are replacing a front end too. None is a direct replacement for the Risk Engine either: Thryve sells a health risk assessment to insurers, and Sahha’s Customer Data Use Policy prohibits underwriting or pricing with its data.

Not announced. The bankruptcy court of the Zurich District Court opened bankruptcy proceedings against dacadoo ag on 29 July 2026, and on 25 September the bankruptcy office published a conditional sale of its software, source code, models, data and domains. No buyer has been publicly named as of 9 October 2026, and whether a buyer keeps the service running is not public. The bankruptcy office, Konkursamt Riesbach-Zürich, is the place to ask about your contract.

What should dacadoo clients do first?

Take an export. Request your users’ data and Health Score history from the bankruptcy office in writing, before a buyer decides what happens to the platform. Backfill windows are capped everywhere, so any history older than an alternative’s signup window has to come from that export.

What replaces the dacadoo Health Score?

Any scoring API here can fill the role, and none reproduces the number. dacadoo’s Health Score is one 0 to 1,000 composite built partly from self-reported answers. Sahha computes five scores from the phone and any wearable with nothing to fill in. Junction and Thryve include their own scores, while Terra and ROOK bill scoring as an add-on on their entry tiers. Re-baseline at the switch rather than converting old values.
